1. What is Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos?

Dolby Vision is the latest High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology, allowing incredible brightness, color, contrast, detail and dimensionality to the movies that are produced in this format. It is supported by many modern Smart TV’s and media players.

Dolby Atmos is the new surround sound technology that provides immersive three-dimensional sound experience with the movies that support it. For full experience we recommend to use sound bars or surround speaker systems that support Dolby Atmos.

 

2. Which devices support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos?

We offer Dolby Vision content exclusively on LG Smart TVs Sony (Android TV), Hisense and Philips Smart TVs, and Dolby Atmos content exclusively on Samsung Smart TVs, LG Smart TVs, Hisense, Sony (Android TV) and Philips Smart TVs at the moment. You need to check if your Smart TV supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

 

3. Are there any specific requirements to watch movies in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos?

You only need a compatible Smart TV and a broadband connection. We recommend to have at least 20 Mbps bandwidth. If you do have the compatible Smart TV you will see Dolby Vision and Atmos labels on the applicable movie detail pages. For best Dolby Atmos experience we recommend to use sound bars or surround speaker systems that support this new format.

 

4. Do movies in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos quality cost higher than other 4K movies?

No, they cost the same as other UHD movies.
