If you've followed all the steps to set up your Chromecast and you don't see the Cast button, it usually means the device you're trying to cast from needs to be refreshed. Follow the troubleshooting steps for your device below:
- Make sure your android o iOS device are on same network, as explained in the following link
- Turn your device off, then back on, as well as your Chromecast
- Update Google Play services. You can update by clicking on the following link:
In the event that the problem persists, you may need to reset your device to factory settings. Although each device has different options, as a general rule, you can find this possibility by following these steps:
- Go to Settings > Backup.
- Tap Factory data reset.
- Then tap Reset phone or Reset tablet.
If the device is password protected, you will need to enter your credentials, PIN, or password.
Tap Clear all to confirm.
