Using iDEAL to Pay on Rakuten TV Netherlands
iDEAL is a secure and convenient payment method that you can use to purchase your favorite movies on Rakuten TV Netherlands. You can use iDEAL on both web and modern TV devices.
Here's how you can complete an iDEAL payment on your TV:
- Select the movie you want to buy.
- If you haven't already configured a payment method, iDEAL will be the default option. Follow the QR code to complete the payment.
- Scan the iDEAL QR code with your standard camera app or regular QR-code scanner and follow the instructions on your mobile device to select your bank.
Important notice: scanning the QR code using your banking app may not be successful. To ensure a seamless iDEAL payment experience, we have partnered with Adyen, utilizing their secure and certified payment gateway to connect with your bank. However, please be aware that some banking apps may not be compatible with Adyen's URL.
You'll see all the details of your purchase on your TV screen!
- Complete the payment at your bank and wait for the confirmation on your mobile device.
- Your TV screen should be refreshed now. Enjoy your movie!
Completing an iDEAL payment on the web is even easier. Just pick the movie you want, select iDEAL as your payment method, and click on "pay". You will then be redirected to the payment page where you can select your bank and complete the payment.
If you have already configured another payment method in your profile, you can use that one instead. However, if you prefer to pay with iDEAL, you can easily remove your current payment method in the settings area > payment methods.
